How to Get Rid of Chapped Lips Effectively

Should you do not have the above mentioned natural ointments, then, you could heal your chapped or cracked lips by applying with an extremely moisturizing lip or face cream that absorb well into the skin. Look for creams with antioxidants or hyaluronic acid. Then, seal the moisture in with a lip balm. Choose your lip balm that contains sealing agents such as shea butter, coconut butter, beeswax, almond oil, Vitamin E and/oil other natural ingredients in order to maintain moisture inside your skin. However, do not choose any lip balm with an extra-long list of ingredients you could not pronounce.



Treating cracked lips by soothing them with home remedy if your lips are so cracked that it hurts to smile. You could rub little amount of pure honey to moisturize your lips to make them better. You could also rub some aloe vera gel on your to soothe and get rid of your chapped lips.

Even though, most experts say the effect is minimal, but capsaicin, which is the compound that gives spiciness to chilies are used in many lip-plumping glosses. For women with dry lips, when you select your lipsticks, choose sheer lipsticks rather than matte lipsticks since sheer lipsticks contain more oils than matte lipsticks.


Drink plenty of water

All in all, always make it a habit to drink 8 – 10 glasses of water a day. When your body is dehydrated, the first to be affected is often your lips. Keep your body hydrated for a healthy mouth and healthy body. Drink plenty of water to get rid of chapped lips.
